Ikea to partner with Tesco

Shopping with Ikea will soon be more convenient, as it plans click-and-collect points at Tesco.

The furniture giant will roll out more than 70 new pick-up points at Tesco stores across the UK, as reported by Retail Gazette

Shoppers will be able to collect their online Ikea orders from a designated area of the Tesco car park. Orders over £100 will be free to collect, with a £5 charge for lower value orders.

Ikea ran a pilot of the scheme at 12 Tesco stores, including Liverpool and Peterborough, a year ago.

The 70 new pick-up points are set to go live before autumn 2024.
