A slice of Americana at Gloucester Food Dock

Gloucester Food Dock's newest venue opens its doors on Friday (March 8).

Chuck Burger, established in 2012, grew in popularity at its residencies in London hotspots Spitalfields, Liverpool Street and Kings Cross.

Now, Cheltenham-based chef Lewis Spencer and his team are bringing a slice of Americana across the pond to Gloucester.

Lewis said: "We're excited to open our doors and get cooking. Chuck will provide the very best of British, well sourced ingredients in every meal.

"Using our multi-fuelled smokers, we'll add an element of smoky flavour to our dishes whether it be pastrami benedict brunch or our Miss Piggy burger, Chuck will be a burger bar like no other."

Chuck Burgers uses aged, UK-reared, ex-dairy cow beef and smoking techniques to add an extra dimension to their dishes. This menu is popping with colour and full of delicious flavours offering burgers like no other.

But it doesn't stop there. Brunch is available daily alongside mouthwatering dishes including cornflake chicken strips, loaded fries and mac 'n' cheese balls. Paired with great coffee, smoothies, juices and locally brewed beer this is a match made in heaven.

New outside seating has been installed at the quayside so as the weather warms up it will be possible to enjoy this amazing menu inside or out.

With two more openings scheduled in the coming months, 2024 is looking to be a very strong year for the £3.5m Gloucester Food Dock which opened its first venue last October.
