Punchline Talks! The B!G interview with Mark Stewart, CEO of Stewart Golf

Whist many businesses have been struggling during the pandemic, Stewart Golf have taken the USA by storm. The company currently employs 33/35 people, turnover last year was £5m and this year it is going to be north of around £7m.

Stewart Golf make golf trolleys, their bestselling model X10 Follow and the Q-series Follow basically do as they say on the tin, their super-duper golf trolleys that follow the golfer. No more pushing and pulling and running after runaway trolleys, these trolleys are the ultimate golfers joy. Light weight with a cool design, they are like the Jaguar of the golf course.

How did the company start? How did they get the products into the States? How is the distribution done? Did they get government help? Where are the trolleys made and how? What are the biggest mistakes and the biggest lessons learnt? And finally, what are Marks top three business tips?

It is a really good interview with another business leader who is at the top of his game. Tune in! It doesn't matter what industry you are in - there is lots to learn here. As usual the questions are asked by Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen, who manages to split his toe trying to open a golf trolley in his rather cramped office space.
