Decathlon sportswear stores to hire ski wear

Sportswear retailer Decathlon, which opened a new store in Cheltenham at the end of last year, is to hire out ski wear.
The retailer has partnered with Hirestreet to take advantage of Brits returning to the ski slopes.
The megastore in Cheltenham is located in the old BHS store in Regent's Arcade.
Hirestreet customers will be able to rent Decathlon products from a little as £15 for a 4-day period rather than buying new.
Customers can choose from 18 lines of ski and hiking jackets and trousers.
Isabella West, Hirestreet founder and chief executive, said: "Demand for rental fashion boomed in 2021 and customers are now looking to hire items for more than just formal occasions. For many of us, who ski infrequently, renting skiwear makes a lot of sense: it's high in price, bulky to store and rarely used."
Sharon Poulter, Decathlon rental manager, said: "It is another way in which we are making sport more accessible - through convenience, price point and flexibility, all while reducing our impact on the planet.
"Renting skiwear was an obvious starting point, but we expect to expand our offer in the future to make getting active even easier and more sustainable."
