Amazing aerial photographs of city's transformation

The huge steel structure being erected off of Black Dog Way shows major progress with the £14.6 million project in the heart of the Gloucester.

United Living, contractors for Rooftop Housing are leading the development and plan to finish the project later this year.

After being derelict for more than a decade, work began to redevelop the site in mid-2017. The project involves the construction of 95 affordable homes, 60 of affordable rent, 21 shared ownership apartments and 14 flats for vulnerable people with learning difficulties.

The momentum of the project joins the several other regeneration schemes taking place around Gloucester city centre, including the redevelopment of Blackfriars , Bakers Quay  and the old Hobbs site .
