What's On: Tickets still available for Tom Jones concert in Gloucester

The legendary Tom Jones is returning to Gloucester for a highly-anticipated concert at Kingsholm Stadium this weekend.

The show, on Sunday, promises a night to remember as Sir Tom performs hits from his incredible career spanning six decades.

The Voice coach is on a UK tour, performing at Sherwood Forest in Nottingham as part of the Forest Live series on Saturday before heading to Gloucester the following night.

During his career Sir Tom has sold in excess of 100 million records, won countless accolades, including a BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music and a Silver Clef Award for Lifetime Achievement.

Knighted by Her Majesty the Queen in 2006, he has amassed 36 top 40 UK hits including It's Not Unusual, Delilah, Kiss, What's New Pussycat and I'll Never Fall in Love Again.

He has just announced a tour of America in the autumn, playing 21 shows across 13 states.

Stephen Vaughan, Gloucester Rugby CEO, said: "We are thrilled to be welcoming back Tom Jones to Kingsholm this summer on what is set to be a memorable weekend for the club, with Little Mix in town on the Saturday night also.

"Tom wowed the Gloucester stage in June 2012, and has remained at the top of his game since, and we're really excited to see him return this summer."

Gates for the Tom Jones concert at Kingsholm open at 4.30pm on Sunday. Support comes from BBC Radio 2 DJ Trevor Nelson and singer-songwriter Tom Odell

Tickets cost £44 standing and from £56 seated and are available via http://tickets.gloucesterugby.co.uk
