Luxury bed company set to open new store in Gloucestershire

A leading bedroom furniture retailer has announced it is returning to Cheltenham.

Feather & Black, which previously occupied Cheltenham House, will open with a new store on Portland Street from Saturday, 6 May.

The company said it decided to relocate to the larger space after considerable growth over the last year following a relaunch of their website, which saw a 35 per cent year-to-date increase of online sales.

Nicky Line (pictured), creative and product director at Feather & Black, said: "We are delighted to be bringing our store back to Cheltenham after shutting up shop in September 2016.

"We missed the regency spa town and its residents so much that we're opening our doors once again.

"Following increased activity on our new website we wanted to expand our store presence across the UK.

"We understand that our target audiences have a considered approach when it comes to buying beds, therefore we want to make our stores even more accessible to our customers.

"Our previous Cheltenham store attracted a loyal fan base so we were keen to race back to the area.

"We've created a free-flowing space with room-settings to help inspire our customers whatever the style of their homes.

"There is also a mattress studio, a designated kid's area and plenty of bedlinen and accessories alongside our usual range of beds and bedroom furniture.

"It's a browsing and shopping space, designed to provide solutions for our customers to create perfect bedtimes for all the family."
