What's On: Cricket stars reunite for Holy Bail tour

Where: Cheltenham Town Hall

When: Sunday March 12

Former England cricket captains David Gower and Chris Cowdrey are reuniting for a must-see show for sports fans.

The lifetime friends are going out on tour together for the first time in The Holy Bail to discuss everything from meeting on a rugby pitch at school in Canterbury, growing up through the England ranks and being each other's best men.

Described as one of the most stylish left-handed batsmen of his era, David played 117 test matches and 114 one day internationals, accumulating an impressive 26,339 runs.

Esteemed cricketer Chris and his father Colin were the second father and son to have both captained the England cricket team. Since retiring from the game Chris has appeared regularly on Test Match Special, talkSPORT and Sky Sports.

Expect a laugh-a-minute show at Cheltenham Town Hall packed with anecdotes from the two pals whose lives are rooted in the history of cricket.

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £27.
