Top grades for hard working King’s School Gloucester students

Students at the King's School in Gloucester celebrated the school's best results for public examinations with one in three results at grade 9/8 and 54% of results at grades 9-7 (equivalent to the old A*-A).

These results were achieved in a wide range of subjects including Further Maths and Classical Greek, showing the diversity and choice available at King's.

David Morton, headmaster at King's School Gloucester, said: "These results reflect the huge amount of effort and resilience the pupils have shown over the past two years.

"The pupils have had to contend with years of disruption from the pandemic; they managed remote learning with confidence and are a credit to the school.

"We wish to congratulate each and every one of our pupils on their superb achievements; they should rightly be proud of themselves".

King's has a reputation for producing strong all-rounders who work hard outside of the classroom as well as inside it.

Amongst the students celebrating great results at the school are James, a motor-racing champion who drives a Porsche Cayman GT4 in the GT Cup Series and Poppy who is an England U18 Pathways rugby player as well as several great musicians and former choristers, first class sports men and women (including a group at Gloucester Rugby Academy), superb artists and many more.
