Gloucestershire police recruitment window

Gloucestershire Constabulary has opened its recruitment window for new police constables.

The constabulary is looking for new full-time recruits, but candidates need to act fast.

The recruitment round ends on Sunday (January 22) or even earlier if it has a lot of applications before that date.

On its website, the constabulary said: "We are looking for the best candidates to join our exceptional team working across our diverse communities within Gloucestershire to protect, serve and keep them safe from harm.

"We are committed to the principles of appointments based on merit with openness and transparency of process. The constabulary is also committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes applications from all suitability qualified applicants. In aiming to have a workforce representative of the communities we serve, applications from females and members of the black and minority ethnic communities are particularly welcome."
