Police call handler recruitment window opens

Ever fancied being a police call handler? You can apply next week, but you will need to ask fast!

Gloucestershire Constabulary is opening the recruitment window for police call handlers next Tuesday (14th September) at 10am. The constabulary is looking for up to 14 people to join the team at its headquarters at Waterwells in Quedgeley.

But the recruitment window could close within just 24 hours, if the constabulary receives a large number of applications. Applicants are advised to start their application as soon as possible.

Being a police call handler is a job like no other. It can be challenging and unpredictable, but it is a very rewarding role.

Gloucestershire's police call handlers play a crucial role in the frontline response for members of the public in their hour of need and handle almost 20,000 calls a month.

You will be able to apply on Tuesday 14 September at 10am via this page: https://gloucestershireconstabulary.tal.net/.../6/adv/.
