SGS College is offering a free eight-week entry level maths course for local people to study at home.

Because the college is dedicated to supporting the local community, and maths is an essential part of everyday life, the college is offering bi-weekly £25 supermarket vouchers to participants, with an additional £100 voucher once they have sat their functional skills exam with the college.

This course offers an opportunity to:

• Help children with maths homework

• Learn skills to better manage bills

• Boost confidence

• Reduce weekly food shopping expenses

• Automatic progression onto a next level maths course if the participant wishes to progress

The Food for Thought maths course is open to people aged 19 or over. An initial assessment will take place to identify their interest in studying maths, ensuring they are entered onto the appropriate course (Entry 1 or Entry 3).
