Cyber event for Gloucestershire schoolgirls

Cynam is holding an event for 1,000 Gloucestershire schoolgirls next month.

The event is designed to change the perception that a career in cyber is just for boys.

Cynam is working with GFirst LEP, Sage, Tesco and InfoSec People Ltd to deliver the event, known as #EmPowerCyber, on November 25.

Cynam has been supported by a huge range of local businesses and organisations in delivering exciting activities for girls, including Babcock International, Renishaw, University of the West of England (UWE), University of Gloucestershire, BAE Systems and National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

For safeguarding reasons, the venue for EmPowerCyber has not been publicised.
