Could you support school students with their future careers?

Gloucestershire Careers Hub works with local secondary schools to support enterprise events. These events help students prepare for their future careers.

It is looking for local businesses to volunteer some time to assist schools with these career shaping events.

Here is the list of upcoming events you could get involved in and potentially inspire your future workforce.

Event: Careers Fair

District: Cheltenham

Dates: Thursday October 5, 5pm to 7pm

Theme: Come and talk to students and inspire them in their future careers. This year's theme is green and sustainable careers.

Who: Any business sectors with green skills opportunities

Event: Careers Fair

District: Gloucester

Dates: Thursday October 19, 11am to 5pm

Theme: Come and talk to students and inspire them in their future careers.

Who: Any business sectors

Event: Ask the Professionals

District: Stroud

Dates: Thursday November 9, 12pm to 4pm

Theme: Students want to hear from business professionals about their roles. Come along and be interviewed by year 10 students about your job.

Who: Any business sectors

Event: Careers Fair

District: Gloucester

Dates: Thursday November 23, time tbc

Theme: Come and talk to students and inspire them in their future careers.

Who: Any business sectors

Event: Speaker Carousel

District: Cheltenham

Dates: Wednesday January 24, 2024

Theme: Help year 10 students shape their careers aspirations with short rounds of group presentations.

Who: Any business sectors
