Apprenticeship Levy transfer event

University of Gloucestershire is holding an event for organisations that already pay the Government's Apprenticeship Levy.

The event on April 20 at Gloucestershire Business School at the Oxstalls campus will cover how to pledge unspent levy funds to businesses who are not able to draw down Government funds to cover the full cost of apprenticeship training for their employees.

This initiative also supports a lot of businesses' corporate social responsibility values.

Dan Boon, early careers and skills development lead at Gloucestershire County Council, said: "GCC has always been an advocate for supporting businesses and the residents of this great county. The Apprenticeship Levy transfer facility is something that we have championed since it was introduced. It has enabled us to support county employers to recruit, train and retain their workforce."

The free event takes place 3pm-5pm will include tea, coffee, and light refreshments.
