Legal firm grows its own talent

Eight newly qualified solicitors are celebrating securing permanent positions at Harrison Clark Rickerbys, following completion of the firm's training programme.

They have joined teams across six of the firm's 11 offices in real estate, corporate, family and employment.

Rachel Turner, partner and training principal, said: "We welcome this group of newly qualified solicitors to the firm and look forward to supporting them to grow and further develop their skills.

"It's because of the work our clients ask us to do that we're able to provide challenging and interesting opportunities for our trainees. Our clients expect the highest standards and our eight new solicitors have put in the hard work needed to ensure they're at the top of their game.

"HCR is passionate about people and actively supports future generations of lawyers, appealing to as wide a recruitment pool as possible by offering a range of non-traditional progression routes that appeal to under-represented groups. The next cohort of trainees have just started their journey with us, and we look forward to supporting them too."

Harrison Clark Rickerbys has more than 800 staff and partners based at offices in Cheltenham, Birmingham, Cambridge, Cardiff, Hereford, London, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Thames Valley, Worcester and the Wye Valley, providing a complete spectrum of legal services to both business and private clients regionally and nationwide.

It also has a number of successful teams specialising in individual sectors, including health and social care; education; technology; agricultural and rural affairs; finance and financial services; defence, security and the forces; and construction.
