SGS College is offering guaranteed interviews to learners on its part-time UpSkilled courses in Early Years and Security.

The college's range of UpSkillED short courses for adults (aged 19+) is designed to increase knowledge and skills for future employability or simply to upskill and open up a learner's career options. The courses provide qualifications to help individuals stand out from the crowd.

SGS will now be providing inspirational talks and guaranteed interviews to learners from industry professionals on both the Early Years and Security courses, giving learners an inspiring insight and the chance to take those first steps into the sectors.

Inspiring learners on the Early Years course will be National Nursery Award 2020 finalist, Anna Gent. Anna has worked in the sector for the last 13 years, having trained at Norland College. After being a private homes nanny up until 2015, Anna is now the quality and training manager for Snapdragons Nurseries Ltd. Snapdragons Nurseries opened in 1998 and has sites across Bristol, Bath and Wiltshire. The family-run business employs almost 350 staff and provides care and education to over 2,000 children across four local authorities.

Snapdragons Nurseries will be giving guaranteed interviews to all learners.

Total Security Services (TSS) will be working with the college on its UpSkillED Security courses. TSS is the UK's largest privately-owned security company, providing national coverage and employing over 3,000 licensed security officers. TSS will be delivering an inspirational talk, while also supporting learners with sessions on interview techniques and returning to offer guaranteed interviews to learners attending the course.
