Schools in Gloucestershire have once more ranked highly in the annual The Sunday Times Parent Power supplement.
Parent Power is 'the definitive guide to the top secondary schools in the UK'. It ranks state and independent secondary schools regionally and nationally.

Once again, Pate's Grammar School in Cheltenham is the county's top ranked state school. The school is ranked at number 5 nationally, with 92.3% of A Levels at A* to B and 91.9% of GCSEs at 9 to 7.
The school is also the State Secondary School of the Year for Academic Excellence in the South West.
Three more Gloucestershire schools make the South West top 10 - Sir Thomas Rich's in third place (no44 nationally), Stroud High School in fourth (no68 nationally) and Denmark Road High School in fifth place (no76 nationally).
Stroud High School was also named The Sunday Times State School of the Year in the South West, after it rose more than 50 places in the national rankings. The school has seen record applications for both the main school and the sixth form in the past year.
The region's top comprehensive school was another Gloucestershire school. The Cotswold School in Bourton-on-the-Water was named Comprehensive School of the Year for the South West - rising 77 places to 169 in the national rankings.
Rounding off the county's success is Cheltenham Ladies' College (ranked 54 nationally), which is Independent Secondary School of the Year for Academic Excellence in the South West, with the top exam results in the region for the independent sector.
