New store brings glamour to Five Valleys

Stroud fashion store owner Edward Morris has expanded with a second store, just months after the launch of his new business at the town's Five Valleys shopping centre.

Edward already owns and manages Amber which opened its doors in February at the centre. The second new store is called Aprico and provides more space for a wider range of dresses and apparel in linen, cushion covers and silk scarfs. Aprico's range will change regularly with styles only available for a limited time.

Following the opening of the two Stroud-based retail stores, last month he also closed the business at 58 Westgate Street in Gloucester.

Edward Morris, Aprico & Amber owner said: "Five Valleys is a great destination shopping centre, in a town where the retail offer had sadly shrunk. It is the perfect place for Amber and Aprico and we are delighted to be part of Stroud's success.

"I pride my stores on having exceptional quality and great prices which I believe is what makes it so popular with our shoppers. We change our stock every few weeks so there's always something new to see in our stores."

Since opening Amber has received fantastic feedback from Stroud's shoppers giving Edward the idea to open the sister store. He chose the name Aprico because it is Latin for 'warm in the sun' and conveys the warm feeling that the shop aims to bring to Stroud.

Open from Monday to Saturday 10 am until 4 pm, Aprico is located at the King Street entrance in the gallery area of Five Valleys.
