International Jazz Day comes to the Cotswolds

Ingleside House and Téatro Bar and Restaurant in Cirencester will be celebrating International Jazz Day with a live garden performance from the award-winning Steven Reid Williams and his band.

International Jazz Day takes place on Saturday, April 30, every year to highlight jazz and its diplomatic role of uniting people in all corners of the globe.

The idea came from celebrated jazz pianist and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Herbie Hancock. It is a celebration that is even recognised by the United Nations.

Saturday April 30 will also see the Téatro firepit and outdoor seating open up to the public again after being closed for winter.

As a piano player, guitarist and singer, Steve has been drafted in to play keyboards for several artists including Jamelia, Leo Sayer, Mel C, Paul Young, Sophie Ellis-Bexter, Rebecca Ferguson, Corey Hart, The Overtones, Lulu, Tulisa, Nadine Coyle and many others.

Ryan Walters, the manager of Ingleside and Téatro, said of the event: "Steve is a fantastic performer and I look forward to hosting him and his band."

Steve's band will begin their performance at 8pm.
