Winchcombe Players present their first ever event

The recently-formed Winchcombe Players are staging a murder mystery evening as their first ever event in May.

'Death By Radio' will be performed at Abbey Fields Community Centre on Saturday, May 11, from 7pm.

It is 1944 and, due to bombing in London, the BBC has relocated its weekly live recording of the long-running radio drama, "The Mystery of the Mummy's Curse", to Winchcombe Junior School.

You are invited to attend the recording and join in with the broadcast. The cast will assemble, but one of them is about to be cruelly murdered.

Come along for an evening of food and fun as you work out who was murdered, why and how?

Tickets cost £22.38 (includes booking fee) available from Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/857163106927/

A limited number of tickets are available from the Coventry Building Society, priced £22.50

Ticket price includes nibbles and a two-course dinner, including a WW2 themed dessert.

A licensed bar (cash or card) will be available plus raffle.

Prizes will be awarded for the best WW2 themed fancy dress. All proceeds will be split between the Winchcombe Arts and Community Hub (WACH) and Winchcombe Players.
