Dunelm sales rise

Homewares retailer, Dunelm, saw a 3% increase in sales in its third quarter.

The retailer, which has stores in Cheltenham and Gloucester, said this was despite challenging trading conditions, which resulted in lower demand in March, as reported by Retail Gazette.

In the three months to March 30, sales reached £435m, as Dunelm continued to build on its customer offer as the "Home of Homes".

It said both store and online sales had grown over the quarter and it believes it also gained more market share in that time.

Dunelm expects full year profits to be in line with expectations, despite the continued difficult trading environment.
