Nile Rodgers & CHIC coming to Cheltenham

There's a second chance to see Nile Rodgers & CHIC in Gloucestershire this summer.

As well as performing at Forest Live at Westonbirt Arboretum on Friday, July 12, the multi Grammy award-winning songwriter, composer, producer and guitarist is coming to Cheltenham Racecourse on Friday, July 26, for a non-race day spectacular under the stars.

Nile is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee.

As the co-founder of CHIC, he pioneered a musical language that generated chart-topping hits like "Le Freak", the biggest-selling single in the history of Atlantic Records and sparked the advent of hip-hop with "Good Times".

Providing support is special guest Heather Small. As the voice of M People, with hits such as 'Moving On Up', 'One Night In Heaven' and 'Search For The Hero', Heather became one of the seminal British voices of the 1990s.

The concert is open to all ages with child tickets available from £15 (ages two and under go free). Adult tickets are available from £45. Those looking to level up their night can buy VIP tickets with a premium bar area and posh loos.

The event site will feature a variety of bars and independent food traders and concert goers are welcome to bring fold up chairs and blankets with them.

Nile Rodgers & Chic and special guest Heather Small promise a superb night of entertainment performing all their hits. Don't miss your chance to see them perform in Cheltenham.

Tickets are available at the Summertime Live website.
