Gloucester-based chartered surveying firm, Bruton Knowles, has appointed a new senior surveyor to its rural team.
Miranda Jones will work alongside John Amos, head of rural at Bruton Knowles.
Miranda, a chartered surveyor and RICS registered valuer, specialises in rural professional services, with a focus on valuations of residential and agricultural property. She has also previously carried out management of residential, agricultural and commercial property for private and institutional clients.
Miranda said: "My family are fourth generation Herefordshire farmers. My rural background and knowledge ultimately drew me towards this sector. After five years in the profession, I decided I was ready for a new career challenge. I have settled in very well at Bruton Knowles and the team dynamic is fantastic.
"I want to use my knowledge to help bring further growth to the rural team and develop our biodiversity net gain offering, whilst also expanding my personal client base."
Miranda's appointment coincides with the rural team's move to a new base in Leominster, Herefordshire, to help encourage its continued growth.
John Amos said: "Appointing Miranda has been a key part of our plans. Her experience and skill, particularly in rural valuations, is going to be a crucial addition.
"With our move across Leominster to our new office, we are focused on continuing to expand our presence, as well as providing even better customer service to our existing customers. Adding more talent and senior members, like Miranda, to our team is going to help us achieve that."
John Amos & Co was acquired by Bruton Knowles in 2020 and John Amos stepped into the head of rural services role at Bruton Knowles in 2023, with full responsibility for business development. The move to new and larger premises will coincide with the adoption of full Bruton Knowles branding.
