Profits rise for fashion brand

The parent company of fashion retailer, Jigsaw, saw profits rise from £700,000 to £1.9m, in its last financial year.
Sales at the retailer, which has a store in Cheltenham, rose 19% to £56.8m, as reported by Retail Gazette.
It is a big turnaround for the brand, which was struggling even before the pandemic. It closed almost a quarter of its stores in 2021.
Cheltenham was one of the stores which closed, before a new store opened in 2022, right next door to the original premises.
Part of Jigsaw's success was due to selling online through retailers like Next.
Jigsaw is now planning to open more new stores this year, including one in Manchester and several in London.
