'Exciting new era' as businesses merge

IT recruitment specialist Parity has merged with Pertemps Network Group to strengthen its position and help it expand into new markets.

Established in 1961, Pertemps has over 200 nationwide branches and offices, including those in Gloucester and Cirencester and a Network Healthcare in Dursley.

Rebranded as Parity Network, the Edinburgh-based business, which has been trading for nearly 50 years, serves clients across the UK, Ireland and a number of other European countries.

It becomes part of a £1bn specialist recruitment network, a long-term investor in Parity, opening it up to more investment and expansion possibilities, while continuing to offer both permanent and contract solutions for clients.

Izzy Brown, managing director of Parity Network, said: "This move makes us part of a high-profile and successful recruitment organisation with the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded businesses focused on attracting the best talent.

"We specialise in finding the best IT talent to fulfil clients' needs. This change means we will be able to offer even more to clients, helping businesses with different roles across many different specialisms that are complementary to our core offering."

Trevor Large, managing director of Pertemps Network Group IT specialists Network ERP + IT (EMEA), said: "The merger with Parity Network continues to enhance Pertemps Network Group's IT offering across a broad spectrum of clients.

"Bringing Parity into the family is a natural progression for both businesses and the start of an exciting new era."
