Matalan introduces more third-party brands

Matalan has boosted its online offer with 10 new third-party fashion brands.

The latest brands added to its website including Yumi, Quiz and Vanilla, as reported by Retail Gazette.

Matalan, which has stores in Gloucester and Cheltenham, introduced third-party brands just over a year ago and already sells Hush Puppies, In The Style, Trespass, Little Mistress, Rocket Dog and Regatta.

Following in the footsteps of M&S and Next, who successfully work with a large number of third-party bands, Matalan said the new ranges would give shoppers even more choice in affordable clothing and footwear.

The retailer said the latest round of brands complement its own brand, as well as its existing brand partnerships. It has found that collections with celebrities such as Stacey Solomon have sold particularly well.
