A 31-year-old man who was wanted by police was arrested on Thursday afternoon and remains in custody.

A public appeal had been issued to locate Shane Walsh as officers wanted to speak to him in connection with several recent offences.

He was wanted by both Avon and Somerset Police and Gloucestershire Constabulary. Police have thanked the public and media for their help in sharing the appeal.
