Gama's strategy is to grow its Special Mission business and the potential acquisition of Specialist would be part of this.
Gama confirmed that the discussions between the business, Specialist and other key stakeholders are well advanced and are expected to be concluded within the next few weeks. It said discussion are subject to further negotiations, diligence and board approval.
Gama continued: "There can be no certainty any transaction will be completed and, if it does, on what terms such a transaction might take place."
