Cheltenham man charged with £2,300 theft from Tesco

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 36-year-old Cheltenham man accused of two thefts of alcohol worth a total of more than £2,300 from Tesco in Cirencester.

Sadac Halil of Pennine Road, Oakley, Cheltenham, is charged with stealing alcohol valued at £1,350 from the store on March 22, 2023, and also with a further offence of theft of £987.99 worth of alcohol from the same store on May 18, 2023.

He did not attend Cheltenham Magistrates Court last Thursday to face the two charges and a warrant without bail was issued for his arrest.
