An Oxfordshire man who runs a 'large company' in the building trade is to stand jury trial accused of burglary and criminal damage at a house near Cirencester in 2023.
At Gloucester Crown Court, sitting in Cirencester on Thursday (February 29) Gavin Bolton of New Road, Woodstock, pleaded not guilty to entering Wykeman House in Winson, Gloucestershire, as a trespasser with intent to do damage on January 10, 2023.
He also denied causing damage to electrical wiring and cabling in the house, owned by Jason Strong, without lawful excuse.
A figure of more than £10,000 has been put on the damage allegedly done.
At yesterday's hearing, Judge Rupert Lowe said Mr Bolton's trial will be set down to start on November 25, 2024. The trial is expected to last 2-3 days. The judge bailed Mr Bolton to that date.
