Burglaries in the Cotswolds

Unknown offenders gained entry to properties in Oddington and Moreton-In-Marsh.

Police are appealing for information following two burglaries in the Cotswolds last month.

Officers were called following a burglary at a residential building site in Oddington where unknown offenders forced a downstairs window of the property and stole power tools worth £3,500.

This is believed to have happened between 4pm on Tuesday, January 23, and 7.15am on Wednesday, January 24.

Another incident in Moreton-in-Marsh saw offenders gain entry to a property in Varsity Close by smashing the front door handle and lock sometime between midnight and 7.30am on Friday, January 26.

It is thought the offenders were disturbed as they were searching the property and left with a white hand towel.

Officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in Oddington or Moreton-In-Marsh or who may have CCTV or doorbell footage to get in touch.

Information can be provided to police by completing the online form and quoting incident 72 of January 24.
