Tim's take on radio's 100th birthday

As UK radio celebrates its 100th birthday, writer and broadcaster Tim Blackmore returns to Chapel Arts in Cheltenham to share some wireless history.

From favourite signature tunes through John Snagge's wartime news bulletins to Noel Edmonds' April Fool jokes, Tim will play quite some examples from radio's past and remind us what a key role the medium has played in British life since its official birth in 1922.

Tim will be appearing at Chapel Arts in Knapp Road, Cheltenham, on Saturday 30th April at 11am.

Tickets are £10 each and available here
