Taylor Wimpey sponsors Longfield's 'Run the Rainbow' event

Longfield Community Hospice is delighted to announce Taylor Wimpey Bristol as the headline sponsor for its 'Run the Rainbow' event taking place at Cotswold Airport on Sunday, July 17.

Locals are urged to sign up early, so as not to miss out on this colourful event, and come prepared for powdered paint, foam, music and inflatables, as they run, walk or skip through the Run the Rainbow challenge.

Featuring a 5K route suitable for the whole family, it's the perfect summer day out and a great opportunity to fundraise for Longfield.

This year Longfield aims to support more than 1,200 patients with life-limiting illnesses, carers and family members, through both the Wellbeing Centre in Minchinhampton and through care in patients' homes.

Vicki Hayward, community and events manager said: "We're thrilled that Taylor Wimpey Bristol has agreed to sponsor this event so generously. We can only offer the care we do thanks to the support of the local community and businesses.

"It should be an unforgettable day and we hope many local people will sign up and bring their friends too. They'll be making memories and helping a good cause at the same time."

Rob Curry, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Bristol, said: "We are delighted to be supporting Longfield Community Hospice's 'Run the Rainbow' event this year. Being able to back local organisations that surround our new developments means a lot to us and it's great to know that we are helping to make a difference to lives of people in the local community."
