Storm-hit Enchanted Light Trail launches tonight

After Storm Arwen forced Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park to reschedule the launch of this year's Enchanted Light Trail, the team are anticipating the opening of this year's light trail tonight (Friday).

The Farm Park team were extremely disheartened to make the decision to cancel the opening night last Saturday (27th November), but adverse weather conditions resulted in safety risks.

With the event planned to begin tonight, the lights will switch on at 4pm to mark the start of this winter's magical trail.

Before the news that Saturday's launch had to be cancelled, VIPs had the chance to preview the trail on Friday 26th November. Adam Henson was joined by well-known names, including Nick Knowles, Kate Humble, Kaleb Cooper and Kate Lawler.

Adam Henson said: "After seeing special guests of the Farm Park enjoying the Enchanted Light Trail's preview evening, I was so disappointed to share the news with visitors that Saturday's launch wasn't going ahead.

"The opening last year was affected by the November lockdown, so it had a strange sense of déjà vu about it! We're more than ready to welcome everyone back this weekend and I can't wait to see what everyone thinks of this year's trail."

This year's trail follows the story of Adam's dog, Peg, who guides visitors along the illuminated trail (lit by 120,000 eco-friendly bulbs) through the wintry Cotswolds landscape to meet the farm's rare breed animals.

The Enchanted Light Trail is a collaboration with Tarren Production and is open on selected dates until Friday 31st December. All tickets are bookable online, in advance from https://cotswoldfarmpark.co.uk/farm-park/enchanted/
