Pied Piper family show at Highnam Court

Classic cars, big trucks, and open gardens will be on display at Highnam Court, near Gloucester, on Sunday, June 12, in aid of the Pied Piper Appeal.

With over 200 classic cars on show including many big trucks and steam engines, the scene is set for another great family day out.

But it's more than just cars and trucks. There are plenty of attractions to entertain the children including go karting, face painting, and guess how many balloons are in the car. Enter the bumper charity raffle to win many fabulous prizes.

Take part in the rugby challenge or golf net - there is something for everyone and lots of entertainment for young and old! Look out for the Storm Troopers and children's characters walking around the showgrounds; grab some fun selfies to share on Pied Piper social media.

Pied Piper Appeal chairman Nick Broady said: "Over ten or so years the Pied Piper Gloucestershire car show has evolved. Following the pandemic we returned last year, with a one-day show on Sunday, and a focus on popular classic cars, big shiny trucks set in the beautiful gardens at Highnam Court. Over 3,000 people visited, and a great day was had by all.

"We must thank our headline sponsors Malvern Tyres and APM Fire & Security whose fantastic support is helping us stage the event, as well as many local firms who pledge their time and teams."

Vice chair Julie Kent added: "There are many local businesses involved in manning stalls or running attractions including HCR Law, Cellar Supplies, Gloucester Glass, Caremark (Glos), CGT Lettings, Woodland Wellness, CJ Hole, SK Refrigeration, and Heath Catering. And of course, refreshments, frothy coffees, a well-stocked bar, and food stalls, as well as ice creams and a sweet stall;, to keep all our visitors fed and watered!"

Other exhibitors include We Move Bikes (e-bikes), Taurus Crystals, The Mortgage branch, Utilities Warehouse and Crimestoppers.

The extensive landscaped gardens are for all to enjoy and in their floral prime and families can also follow the sculpture trail around the gardens.

Tickets are just £10 per person and children under 16 go free. Gates open at 10am and close at 4pm.

You can book online or pay on the day at the gate.
