Mosque opens its doors to the public

The general public are being invited to an open morning at a mosque in Gloucester.

Masjid E Noor in Ryecroft Street was the first purpose-built mosque in the South West of England and Wales.

The open morning takes place on Sunday, November 26 from 10am to 11.30am.

The open event will provide the visiting public with:

  • A guided tour of the mosque
  • Information about the services provided by the community
  • A greater understanding of the Islamic faith and its values
  • An opportunity to meet Muslims working in different professions throughout the South West
  • Networking and friendship opportunities between members of different communities
  • A platform to ask questions
