Half-term fun for youngsters with disabilities

A half-term full of friendly, accessible fun for children and young people with disabilities and their families is taking place at the Chamwell Centre Charity.

Several days of special activities are being laid on at the centre, located at the Milestone School in Longford Lane, Gloucester.

On Tuesday, October 31, from 1pm-2pm there's a Twit Twoo Owl Experience where youngsters can meet and fly owls Wally, Hibou and Henry. The cost is £11 each.

Later in the day, from 3pm-4pm, there's a chance to play Boccia for Halloween. No experience is necessary for this fully accessible sport hosted by national champion Archie. The cost is £4 each.

On Thursday, November 2, it's time for fun and fancy dress from 11am-3pm in a free event! There'll be lots of accessible fun, games and fancy dress for Halloween, including tin can alley, giant Connect 4, bow & arrows, ball games and lots more from 'Goals Beyond Grass'.

Finally, on Friday, November 3 from 10am-1pm there's another free session when 'With the ball Coaching' brings lots of fun and fully accessible ball games.

Booking is required for all events as spaces are numbered. Children must be accompanied at all times.
