From hip hop to orchestras, acrobats to acoustic artists and circus performers to DJs - Gloucester Rooftop Festival promises its most exciting line-up ever.

Gloucester's Eastgate Centre roof will be transformed from a car park to a four-day festival party from Thursday, July 15, to Sunday, July 18.

Space is designed by local artists and creative experiences performed by a diverse range of local and national talent. And tickets are pay-what-you-like.

The four-day event is a collaboration between some of the city's leading arts organisations - Strike A Light, The Music Works, Gloucester Guildhall and Gloucester Culture Trust.

Acts include: Gloucester's JPDL, t.e.d., Beatbox Academy, Barely Methodical Troupe, Upsurge x the Multi-Story Orchestra, Simple Cypher Circus - plus loads more yet to be announced.

Jim Lockey, programming and marketing manager at Gloucester Guildhall, said: "This is the most exciting programme we have showcased, with so many great local and national artists in a unique environment. It is going to be a much-needed party with something for everyone in Gloucester to enjoy."
