Family-friendly classic at Tuckwell Festival

Tethered Wits is thrilled to reveal that its upcoming show - 'Pygmalion' by George Bernard Shaw - will be performed on Saturday (August 14) at the Tuckwell Amphitheatre at the Bacon Theatre in Cheltenham.

Pygmalion follows the story of flower girl Eliza Doolittle and eccentric professor of phonetics Henry Higgins, as he tries to teach her to pass for a duchess in society after making a bet.

As Higgins teaches Eliza heirs, graces and a veneer of gentility, Bernard Shaw's family-friendly classic delves into a sparkling and provocative exploration of education, sexual politics and the rigid class system of the day.

The show stars Amy Porter as Eliza Doolittle and Aaron Rozanski as Professor Henry Higgins.

Doors will open from 6pm for pizza and refreshments! Bring your own blankets, cushions, and camping chairs and join us on our outdoor adventure. Come prepared for the weather - the performance will continue come rain come shine!
