Cheltenham Samaritans celebrate 60 years with beer festival

Cheltenham & District Samaritans are celebrating turning 60 years old.

To mark this incredible milestone and the work of the branch, the Friends of Cheltenham Samaritans are hosting a craft beer festival on Friday and Saturday, October 20th and 21st, at St James & St Phillips Church in Cheltenham.

The aim of the event is to provide a community event for craft beer lovers in a relaxed friendly atmosphere, whilst raising valuable funds for the Cheltenham branch who are self-funded.

Leigh Norwood, chairman of the Friends, said: "Interest in craft beers has been coming to a peak over the last few years and the variety of styles available means there should be something for everyone to enjoy."
