Main attractions confirmed for The Cotswold Show

The favourite family event in the Cotswolds, The Cotswold Show and Food Festival, is taking place Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of July in Cirencester Park.

Inspired by the ethos of Lord Bathurst, 'town meets country', the show is filled with entertaining, educational and traditional Cotswold and countryside infused performances.

The show's main arena; The Bathurst Arena will once again be hosting adrenaline-filled entertainment with the UK's leading freestyle mountain bike stunt team, Savage Skills providing BMX displays showcasing their awe-inspiring skills high above the crowds. As well as Ben Atkinson Action Horses celebrating true connection, the horse and all its power and grace.

2022 celebrates the annual Sheep Show performance, a witty approach to educating the audience. Presenting nine different sheep breeds on stage discussing their differences in character, size, wool and much more while the sheep dance to music.

Every activity and attraction over the weekend is curated to entertain and educate. After every performance there is the opportunity to ask questions and meet the amazing animals like all 16 golden retrievers who are part of the Southern Golden Retriever Obedience Group performing in the Apsley Arena. The dog fun run is scheduled to run all weekend for all dogs, from pups to veterans.

There is the exciting opportunity to climb the magnificent trees in the park under expert supervision or you can watch traditional countryside craftsmen such as beekeepers, blacksmiths, weavers and lacemakers.

This year's Food Festival will feature 40 producers in the food hall, selling a marvelous selection of foods such as charcuterie, cheese, gin and sweet treats.

For all the budding chefs attending this year's show, the cookery theatre will be presenting cookery demonstrations all weekend. Featuring the Bucks Brothers Gin mixology day, MasterChef finalist Koj, who specialises in Japanese cuisine, as well as welcoming back Tommy's Street Kitchen featuring food with flavour from all around the world.
