1,000 postcard-sized pieces of art for sale

A thousand original postcard-sized pieces of art, donated by artists from all around the world, will be up for sale at Cheltenham Racecourse on Saturday (July 3).

The Twitter Art Exhibit will raise funds for Gloucestershire charity LINC, the Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund.

This is a fantastic opportunity to buy a piece of art and help a charity to help others at the same time.

The Twitter Art Exhibit was set up to utilise social media and public engagement to generate income for charities. Artists from all over the world donate an original postcard sized painting that will be sold to raise funds for a chosen charity.

The opening will be held on Saturday 3 July in the Hall of Fame at Cheltenham Racecourse. The art will be available to buy from 2pm onwards and then online after the event. All the postcards can be previewed on the TAE Facebook page.

The postcards cost £30 each or four for £100. Every purchase of a postcard will directly fund a patient session with a LINC clinical psychologist who plays such a vital role in patient support. Intensive chemotherapy can be immensely gruelling for both the patient and their families and LINC provides support in every way possible.

Entry to the Art Exhibit is free although attendees are asked to register at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/twitter-art-exhibit-tae21-cheltenham-tickets-146738828787
