Winter Glow  a multi-attraction Christmas event based at Three Counties Showground, Malvern, has announced details of a new charitable partnership with national charity WellChild.

The charity aims to help children with serious health needs thrive at home with their families, rather than in hospital. This is achieved with a nationwide network of children's nurses, home and garden transformations and family support services.

The annual festive extravaganza Winter Glow will be supporting the charity by gifting a series of festive experiences to the families it works with. This will include 100 tickets to its new Christmas Odyssey themed light trail, 100 ice skating sessions on one of the region's largest indoor rinks, and finally 100 tickets to ride the event's signature 120ft Observation Wheel - offering a bird's-eye view of the Malvern countryside.

Abby Guilding, director of fundraising at Well Child, said: "We are delighted to have been chosen as this year's charity for the Winter Glow 2022. WellChild supports seriously ill children and their families across the UK.

"Our projects include a team of more than 50 WellChild children's nurses; our garden and bedroom transformation projects which make home environments safer, more accessible and sensory and our on-line WellChild family tree community which connects families for mutual support and friendship.

"Now more than ever, when times are really tough, your support is greatly valued and will make a huge difference to the children and families we support."

Winter Glow invites you to embrace all things seasonal, with an impressive line-up of activities and excitement on offer this Christmas. 

Along with the newly themed Light Trail 'A Christmas Odyssey', the 120ft Observation Wheel and the Indoor Ice Rink, visitors can enjoy the Personalised Santa Experience, browse Winter Glow's brand-new Christmas Market, which will feature a selection of local traders, crafters and artisans. 

A Food Quarter, Ice Cafe and Bavarian-style bar will also be in place to refuel after a busy day of festive fun.

Winter Glow takes place at the Three Counties Showground from 25th November - 2nd January 2023.
