Taurus Crafts all set to go retro

Where: Taurus Cratfs, The Old Park, Lydney GL15 6BU

Taurus Crafts is set to go retro with their Antiques and Vintage Fair on Sunday 22nd September. The fair offers visitors the chance to discover a hidden gem or two amongst the stalls offering a diverse selection of antiques, memorabilia, bric-a-brac, collectables and vintage items.

"There is more to the objects on offer at the fair than meets the eye, they each have a story attached to them and it is great to see this live on, or to find out what the specialist traders know about the objects."

It's good news if you are a specialist collectors looking for something in particular as there will be a selection of sellers specialising in; vinyl records, glass paperweights, glassware, historical local books and prints, French vintage the centre's on-site antiques expert Alan Brown who runs the Little Bazaar antiques shop.

The fair is not just about rediscovering collectables and finding a bargain as visitors will also be able to enjoy a 'mini vintage tea party' with cake and tea and accompanying nostalgic music from 'Blitz Time Sally' who sources inspiration from old black and white films, her Grandmother and wartime stories.

Not forgetting the live jazz and blues music and a BBQ there is something for everyone at the Antiques and Vintage Fair so why not visit Taurus Crafts and enjoy a nostalgic day out. The fair runs from 10am until 4pm and is free to enter with free parking.

Taurus Crafts is part of the Camphill Village Trust, a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities. Taurus Crafts provides work and training opportunities, so people can interact with the public and gain confidence from their achievements.

The centre is open daily 10am until 5.30pm and is free to get in with a large free car park. Located just outside Lydney town on the A48.
