By David Wood | 30th October 2025
A remembrance service is being held in Cheltenham to remember lives lost and injured on Gloucestershire's roads.
The service - open to people of all faiths and people of no faith - is being organised by RoadPeace in partnership with the Gloucestershire Road Safety Partnership at All Saints Church, Pittville, on Sunday, November 16, from 2.30pm-4.30pm.

The most recent figures for 2024 reveal that there were 1,367 road casualties on Gloucestershire's roads with 22 fatalities. Already this year there have been 21 fatalities this year with still two treacherous months to go.
RoadPeace is the leading national charity for road victims. It was founded in 1992 by Brigitte Chaundry MBE after the death of her son in a road collision.
The charity's vision is "a world where road danger is not tolerated and where crash victims receive justice and compassion". They provide support and information services, campaign to improve the justice system, and lead in organising remembrance events.
In 1993 RoadPeace established the World Day of Remembrance for road traffic victims which was later adopted by the United Nations.
