Round Table launches car boot sale in Cirencester

Cirencester Round Table presents the town's first-ever regular car boot sale, starting this Sunday (July 3).

The car boot is being held at Watermoor C of E Primary School, Kingshill Lane, Cirencester GL7 1HS on the first Sunday of each month (May to September), starting July 3.

Sellers arrive from 8am and buyers arrive from 8.30pm. The cost is £5 per car for sellers, £10 for van/trailer and buyers are asked for a voluntary donation. No trade vans.

Hot and cold refreshments will be available and well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

A spokesperson for Cirencester Round Table said: "We are always looking for new and innovative ways to further bring the community together and raise money for local charities and good causes.

"A number of us have seen first hand how the current cost of living crisis can negatively affect people. This is how the car boot idea came about.

"We want to give local people a platform to make a few extra quid in these difficult times and maybe bag a bargain. Rehoming pre-loved items that might otherwise go to landfill is another bonus and great for the environment."
