Southrop School PTA is organising an afternoon and evening of family fun at the first Southrop & Eastleach Festival Of Fine Ales.

From 3.30pm at Eastleach Village Hall on Saturday, a wide selection of local fine ales will be on offer, together with a BBQ. Non alcoholic drinks will be available along with wine and a local cider for non beer drinkers.

Ales set to be on offer include Arkells' Hoperation, Donnington's Cotswold Gold, Wychwood's Hobgoblin, Brakspear's Oxford Gold and North Cotswolds Brewery's Cotswold Best.

There's lots on offer for children too - they'll be able to play on the recently refurbished playground on site, and there'll be face painting and children's games too.

Ample parking will be provided and all funds raised will go Southrop School PTA to help support the school and enhance the children's learning.

Entrance is £10 to include four half pints of ale and a commemorative glass while £3 covers entrance only. Children will be admitted free.
