Mosque throws open its doors to the public

There's a chance to visit the Masjid E Noor mosque in Ryecroft Street, Gloucester, on Sunday, April 21.

The first purpose-built mosque in South West England and Wales is hosting an open morning from 10am to 11.45am. Families, neighbours, work colleagues and friends are being invited along.

The open event will provide the visiting public:

  • A guided tour of the mosque
  • Information about the services provided by the community
  • A greater understanding of the Islamic faith and its values
  • An opportunity to meet Muslims working in different professions throughout the South West
  • Networking and friendship opportunities between members of different communities
  • A platform to ask questions
