Mark's magical evening at the Everyman

Punchline editor Mark Owen enjoyed a 'magical' evening at the Everyman Theatre last night (Wednesday).

Mark went along to see Magic Goes Wrong - created with magic legends, Penn & Teller - which is coming to the end of a two-week run at the Cheltenham theatre.

"It was absolutely brilliant - it really was a magical show," said Mark, who met some of the cast and crew after the show.

"What a lovely bunch of people. One of the things one of them said to me was how great the audience has been here in Cheltenham. They said it was the best of the run so far."

The show revolves around a hapless gang of magicians who are staging an evening of grand illusion to raise cash for charity. But as the magic turns to mayhem, accidents spiral out of control and so does their fundraising target!

Raising the bar with their daredevil stunts, jaw-dropping feats and irresistible comedy genius, Mischief's Magic Goes Wrong plays at the Everyman until Saturday (February 19).
